With
the birthdate of 05/05/05, Hex was bound to be something special.... Like her half-sister Zen, even though she was the
wrong color, I could not resist keeping her.
Hex definitely had a wicked side, but she was a joy to own and train.
At only just 3 years old we tragically lost Hex to mushroom poisoning.
She was my heart and soul and she is missed dearly. Words cannot
express our sadness.
Once a dog has gone; all titles and ribbons seem insignificant. Yet
the essence of Hex was in her drive and enthusiasm for work. Before she
was 2 years old; Hex had competed and placed in breed (Best Puppy),
Freestyle (1st place Starters)and Obedience (2nd Place Beginners).
It was agility that her true calling. She became an Agility Champion
before she was 3 years old and qualified for Crufts and Olympia in her
first year of competition. In her first international competition she
represented Great Britain and recieved the Bronze Medal in the European
Agility Open Final. She was a fabulous all-around sheltie and my idea of a perfect sheltie. We love you and miss you.
